Christchurch Tram or Gondola: The tram and gondola are two of the city’s most beloved attractions anda prime way to move about the city, its popular sites, restaurants, shops, and museums. View Christchurch from above, in all its panoramic splendor or take it in from street level.
International Antarctic Centre: The International Antarctic Center brings immersive experiences of Antarctica to its visitors. Patrons are able to touch, feel, and interact with the unique wildlife, ecosystems, and scientific discoveries that make up Antarctica.
Art: Art is a dynamic focus for Christchurch, which is evident through their boutique galleries, museums, theater, street art, and urban art tours. Visitors can take time to visit one of the many museums or check out The Arts Center to discover local boutique galleries or performances.
TranzAlpine train: The TranzAlpine Train, and its Alpine Pacific Touring Route, runs from Christchurch to the West Coast, along the Southern Alps. This is a phenomenal way to view the local landscape, juxtaposing South Island’s lush and rugged alps, Canterbury plains, and western coastline.
